- MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in logic design and signal processing algorithms implementation, from high-level conceptual and architectural discussions to microarchitecture and design partitioning within the ASIC/FPGA
Integrate designs onto FPGA/SoC platforms
Participate in all phases of design flow (e.g. synthesis, timing closure)
Work with engineers across the department to develop new products, from prototype through production and flight
Create and deliver presentations to leadership and peers for design, test and manufacturing readiness reviews
Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical, computer engineering, computer science, or related STEM fields
Experience working with FPGAs or ASICs (internship and research experience also qualifies)
Experience using Verilog, SystemVerilog, or Chisel
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working with complex digital designs
Experience in different stages of silicon development: RTL design, verification, synthesis, timing analysis, lab bring up/validation
Experience integrating logic onto SoC platforms and designing high-throughput PS/PL interfaces
Solid understanding of DSP fundamentals
Experience designing and modeling DSP blocks and algorithms (filters, modems, etc)
Software development skills (C/C++, bash, Perl, and Python)
Interests in ARM, OpenSPARC, RISC-V or related emerging technologies
