Battery specialist

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

        • Conduct battery cell engineering design and qualification efforts from concept design to manufacturing process
        • Develop and refine cell designs for various chemistries and applications focusing on optimization and improvement of electrochemical results like capacity, cycle life, rate performance and others
        • Collaborate with other engineers, subject matter experts, and technicians to solve complex material and processing challenges
        • Stay informed of technology advancements, market trends, and relevant guidelines and standards related to energy storage technology
REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERRED SKILLS:
 
          • Experience with either ceramic-based or polymer-based solid-state electrolytes
          • Degree in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrochemical Engineering, or equivalent
          • Battery assembly experience preferred
          • Familiar with electrochemical cell mechanisms (Li-ion batteries)
